Sister Alice Uhl, OP is a Dominican Sister of Caldwell, NJ. She ministered at our St. Aloysius Parish in the 1990’s as the director of the Parish’s religious education programs and returned in the Fall (2010) to minister in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) process and in the Ministry to the Parish’s elderly, sick and homebound. Sister Alice is a graduate of Caldwell College with a degree in English and education and a masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University. She is a trained and certified spiritual director. Sister Alice has ministered as a teacher, principal and pastoral associate in parishes in Newark, Kenilworth and Spring Lake. She has served in various ministries in the Dominican Sisters’ Congregation. Sister resides presently in Marian Manor, a Dominican sponsored senior citizen housing community, and her sister, Eleanor, who is also a Dominican Sister. Sister Alice enjoys sports, theater, movies and of course dancing.
