September 17th - Welcome Back Party!
Join us for our 5th annual Welcome Back Bag Lunch Party! This year we will officially welcome our newest Parochial Vicar, Fr. Andrew Rubinich. Fr. Andrew will share with us his journey to the priesthood and get to know us better.

October 15th - Laughter Yoga
Joan Castellano has been facilitating laughter yoga groups since 2018. Today she will introduce us to laughter yoga and its many benefits. Then she will teach us some movement and breathing exercises that will help us feel amazing and have fun de-stressing.
Nov 19th - Veteran's Day Tribute
The theme for Veterans Day 2024 is “A Legacy of Loyalty and Service.” Let’s get together to honor our Veterans and their families for their service to our country. This program is hosted by our St. Al’s Seniors’ Veterans Committee members, Michael Shaw, US Navy, Susan Gustafson, US Air Force, and John Krug, US Coast Guard.

Enjoy a winter afternoon of luck, laughter, and lots of fun and prizes.
February 18th - Through the 20th Century on the Accordion
David Vincenti, musician, poet, and storyteller will entertain us with songs from the twentieth century and the stories behind them. He will start with the early days of motion pictures and move on to popular songs throughout the decades. He will play songs you remember, and maybe some you don’t. Singing along is encouraged.
March 18th - St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon
Jack’s Café will once again cater for our traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner. We will then be entertained by Frankie Zarro, tenor, students from DeNogla Academy of Irish Dance and Beverly Chisholm, accompanist.

April 15th - Mini Health and Wellness Fair
Clarissa Soto-Vargas, Community Health Manager at Clara Maass Medical Center, will bring her team of professionals and Michael Dougherty, a Mental Health Therapist, who will speak with us about how we can deal with different losses seniors face. They will also give us strategies that will enhance our health and wellness. In addition, blood pressure and glucose screenings, educational materials, and giveaways will be available. The Fair will run from 1:15 – 3:00 pm.
Lunch will be provided.
May 1st - Marian Devotion
Join the St. Aloysius Seniors, Rosary Society and Social Concerns Ministry in honoring Our Blessed Mother Mary in a Marian Devotion consisting of Mass and recitation of the Rosary. Msgr. Robert Emery will preside.
Dessert will be served in the parish hall.

May 14th - "Viva Las Vegas"
Join us for a three-course luncheon and a show “Viva Las Vegas” performed by Joe Zisa and Friends, and the Jersey Dreamers. Enjoy great food and drink, music, singing and dancing.

June 17th - Classic Barbeque
Eight Hills will cater our Classic Barbeque of Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Barbeque Chicken, Corn on the Cob, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Fresh Fruit Salad, and Rolls. All grilling will be done on site by our personal Grill Master. Dessert will be a special cake and coffee/tea.
